Nishjot Sidhu 

Nishjot Sidhu is an incoming associate practicing family law. She supports clients through high-stakes and emotionally complex matters with a steady, practical, and resolution-focused approach. She is committed to ensuring clients feel heard, clearly informed, and confidently guided through each stage of the legal process, particularly during times of uncertainty and transition.

Prior to joining the firm, Nishjot completed her articles with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation and gained additional litigation experience through a secondment at Hunter Litigation Chambers, where she was exposed to a broad range of legal disputes. She also worked with the Thompson Rivers University Legal Clinic, assisting clients in navigating legal issues and strengthening her foundation in accessible, client-centred legal service. Earlier experience as a summer student and legal assistant provided hands-on exposure across family law, civil litigation, personal injury, and wills and estates, with a focus on drafting, client communication, and file management in fast-paced environments.

Alongside her legal practice, Nishjot is engaged in community initiatives as the founder of Dasvandh and Bhangra City, both rooted in service, leadership, and cultural connection in the Lower Mainland. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and writing, and spending time outdoors through hiking, biking, and kayaking across British Columbia.
